Pricing — K9 Clubhouse Kāpiti dog daycare rates

Pricing

Simple, no-surprise rates

Honest, all-inclusive pricing. No hidden fees, no surprise add-ons. Pick the option that fits how often your dog needs the Clubhouse — and yes, you can mix and match as your week (and your dog's social life) evolves.

All prices include GST.

Casual rates

The drop-in option. Perfect for the occasional Clubhouse day, a trial run, or when your dog needs a Wednesday wind-down between busy weekends.

Full Day
$55
Up to 12 hours of fun, from a 6:30am drop-off to a 6:30pm pickup. Built around the Wellington commute.
Half Day
$35
Up to 5 hours. Great for short office days, half-day appointments, or dogs who'd rather not be away from home all day.

Casual visits are invoiced at check-out and payable within 24 hours.

Value packs

Save up to $70 by buying days in advance. Packs are perfect for regular Pack members whose dog is going to be a fixture at the Clubhouse most weeks.

5 Full Days
$250
$50 per day — save $25 over five casual days.
10 Full Days
$480
$48 per day — save $70 over ten casual days.
5 Half Days
$150
$30 per half day — save $25 over five casual half days.

Value packs are pre-paid and must be used within 120 days of purchase. Unused days aren't refundable or transferable to another household — but value packs are linked to you, not your dog, so if you have two dogs in the same household, your pack covers either of them. The 120-day window can be extended in special circumstances by request to K9 Clubhouse management.

Add-on services

  • Nail clipping — $20. Add to any visit.
  • Grooming service — coming soon. We're working on the full grooming package. Keep an eye on the Clubhouse for the launch.

What's included every day

Every day at the Clubhouse — casual or pack — includes:

  • Fresh water on tap, all day
  • Toys, enrichment activities, and structured play time
  • Treats and snacks to keep energy levels up
  • A comfortable rest area for nap breaks
  • A daily report card with photos, sent through to you by the end of the day
  • All the belly rubs your dog can handle (no extra charge)

The only thing your dog needs to bring is a leash. If your dog has a special diet, bring their food and we'll serve it the way they like it.

Should I go casual or buy a pack?

It depends on how often your dog will join us.

  • Just trying it out? Start with a casual full or half day. You'll see how the Clubhouse fits your dog's temperament before committing to a pack.
  • One or two days a week, occasionally? Casual rates are simpler — no expiry to track.
  • Three or more days a week, every week? A 10-day pack pays for itself in the first few weeks and saves you $7 a day. Most regulars find a 10-day pack the easiest rhythm.
  • Mostly half-day visits? The 5 half-day pack is the cheapest per-visit rate the Clubhouse offers.

The first visit

Before any dog joins the pack, every new dog books in for a complimentary assessment visit — a chance for them to meet the team, sniff out the Clubhouse, and let us check that they'll thrive in the group. We'll walk you through onboarding and confirm vaccination paperwork (Bordetella and DHLPP required; Leptospirosis strongly recommended) before the first booking.

If plans change

If you need to cancel or change a booking, we ask for at least 24 hours' notice. Same-day cancellations and no-shows can be charged at the standard day rate — fair warning so it doesn't catch you out.

Payments

When your dog is checked out, we email an invoice. Value pack credits are used first — they always override the casual day rate. For everything else, direct bank transfer is our preferred option, and a credit card link is included in the invoice for anyone who'd rather pay online.
